February 28, Issue 187
There's nothing wrong with looking up to someone [First Name], or having heroes or role models. But when we idolize someone, or imagine they're perfect in every way, then we're setting ourselves up for a fall. Stop Putting People on a Pedestal is a new script to help your clients be more realistic about others and so improve their ability to connect with them while protecting themselves against the backlash that inevitably comes from building them up too high in their minds.
Fear You've Done Something Wrong is our second new script for February. Whenever worries about what your client may or may not have done turn into obsessive thoughts, it's time to do something about them. This script calms those thoughts and allows your clients to step back from them, widen their perspective and so take the power out of the fear.
Then, Overcome Fear of the Police is for your clients if they find they get anxious around the police. Whether they have had a negative experience with the police in the past or not, this script will help them stay relaxed around the police, which will improve the likelihood of a positive outcome from any encounter your clients have with them.
In summary:
- Stop Putting People on a Pedestal - help your clients avoid the inevitable downsides.
- Fear You've Done Something Wrong - help your clients stop the obsessive thoughts.
- Overcome Fear of the Police - help your clients stop the knee jerk reaction.
- Positive Menopause - help your clients embrace this stage of life.
I hope there's something of interest for you here and that you and yours are well,
My very best,
Mark
