February 28, Issue 187
There's nothing wrong with looking up to someone [First Name], or having heroes or role models. But when we idolize someone, or imagine they're perfect in every way, then we're setting ourselves up for a fall. Stop Putting People on a Pedestal is a new session to help you be more realistic about others and so improve your ability to connect with them while protecting yourself against the backlash that inevitably comes from building them up too high in your mind.
Fear You've Done Something Wrong is our second new title for February. Whenever worries about what you may or may not have done turn into obsessive thoughts, it's time to do something about them. This session calms those thoughts and allows you to step back from them, widen your perspective and so take the power out of the fear.
Then, Overcome Fear of the Police is for you if you find yourself getting anxious around the police. Whether you have had a negative experience with the police in the past or not, this session will help you stay relaxed around the police, which will improve the likelihood of a positive outcome from any encounter you have with them.
In summary:
- Stop Putting People on a Pedestal - avoid the inevitable downsides.
- Fear You've Done Something Wrong - stop the obsessive thoughts.
- Overcome Fear of the Police - stop the knee jerk reaction.
- Positive Menopause - embrace this stage of life.
I hope there's something of interest for you here and that you and yours are well,
My very best,
Mark
