The past can really seem to haunt us sometimes and we are all, to some degree, affected by emotional conditioning from things we have been through in the past. Sometimes the responses we learn are useful but sometimes the lingering effects of past hurts mean we fail to adapt and respond to current life in the best way we could until we've dealt with troubling memories.
In this month's free Audio Insight: How to use hypnosis to ease the pain of past memories we describe two specific hypnotic techniques widely used to help people move on from past experiences. And, what's more, you can apply these techniques self-hypnotically for your own benefit as well as use them to help others. We all need to enjoy the present and look forward to the future but sometimes to do this we need to let go of the unhelpful past.
And talking of looking forward to future times, we have totally revamped, and we feel infinitely improved, our popular Find your passion session. Happiness is partly about doing what you feel you were born to do.
Other new 2011 sessions include Resist temptation, not only just right for the start of the year (with all those so well-intentioned resolutions!) but a timelessly valuable session; because life is full of distractions, traps and dead ends that are to be avoided.
We already have sessions helping with the general problems of procrastination and people love them, but we've had so many requests for a Write your dissertation download that we have decided to devote a whole new session specifically to this.
We continually review and update all our products and aim to keep abreast of new research, not just relating to hypnosis but to psychology generally. We also relate our work to what we have found useful over the years in our clinical practice helping clients one to one. In the Downloads Unwrapped section below I'll quickly give you a sense of some of the inspiration and knowledge that went into the creation of three other new download sessions released this January.

This morning I downloaded 'Inner Strength Booster' and have listened to it only once so far. From the first few moments that I started listening to it, I started feeling an infinite inner strength and power surging within me (and to think that it was always there within me but I could never before be able to tap it)! Of course, I have already been using many of your other downloads, including 'Confidence Booster', 'Self-Esteem Booster', 'Manly Man' (another gem!), plus I've been using self-hypnosis for 35 years altogether (but with only moderate success), and all these things have helped to contribute to this morning's experience, but this particular download (Inner Strength) is, I believe, your most powerful one! Congratulations on such a magnificent creation!
