Hi
This the season to be skeptical. Or it should be. In December you are sold gifts to give; in January you are sold self improvement methods as the new you for the New Year beckons. Of course we are in favor of self improvement if it is realistic and based on good psychology.
Believe it or not some people are skeptical about hypnosis. Either that it exists or can be effective. You can listen to your no-cost audio insight 'Skeptical about Hypnosis?'. It should give you some ideas if you are dealing with a skeptic in need of hypnosis or if you yourself just want to learn more.
The trouble with resolutions
It's amazing how quickly the resolve goes out of New Year's resolutions. The trouble with resolutions is by the end of January we feel, because it is no longer New Year we are let off the hook. With this in mind and now we've cleared the New Year Hullabaloo I can draw your attention to our stop sm'oking pack and weight l'oss pack.
Increase your skill in 2008 with our online training
You may know that I deliver training online with my colleagues from Uncommon Knowledge. We are starting new courses shortly, and there are still early bird reductions in place. To book a place at a reduced price, see the following pages:
- Learn hypnosis online - starts 10th April (Early bird reduction ends March 20th)
- How to lift depression quickly - starts 9th April (Early bird reduction ends 19th March)
- Lift trauma, PTSD and phobias quickly - starts 12th June (Early bird reduction ends 22nd May)
So take some time now and enjoy what we have to offer.
All best wishes for a happy, productive, interesting and rewarding New Year.

Downloads Unwrapped
Being too nice may not seem like a bad thing. After all we are meant to be decent to one another are we not? In the new session Stop Being Too Nice I talk about the value of niceness. If something is too readily available then its value decreases dramatically. If gold and diamonds were lying around in the street then they would be pleasant but worthless items.
Negativity like any emotionally driven attitude is extremely infectious. With this in mind we have produced Negativity Shield to help protect you from the leaking negative, pessimism and lethargy of others around you.
Negative attitudes can work like infectious viruses spreading from person to person and lowering morale (1) The session helps you stay objectively outside of negative 'group-think'. Being too nice to 'negativity transmitters' may mean joining them in their limiting perspective. So these two sessions will work well together. We often want to be like others around us but if you are surrounded by naysayers then you may be better to Stop Comparing Yourself to Others.
Constantly comparing ourselves to other people (or at least the image they convey) can lower self esteem and make us lose sight of our individuality. The stop comparing session encourages you to be inspired by other people up to a point but not be totally driven by how you think you should be just because of other people around you. It encourages you to think for yourself and set your own standards regardless of other people.
(1) See Robert Shiller's book "Irrational Exuberance." for an economists take on how irrational ideas can spread quickly.
New Audio Insight - Skeptical about hypnosis? Skepticism can be useful if it is based on information and flexibility of thought. Otherwise it can be a mental strait jacket. 'Skeptical about hypnosis?' this month's free audio insight addressed skepticism. Listen to this new audio insight here.

Your Testimonial |
"An absolute lifesaver"
"I have downloaded quite a few hypnosis sessions now. I first came to you for help with my confidence and assertiveness in work and your downloads helped dramatically. People actually commented how I had changed after just a few sessions although I had not told people I was doing this"
"I more recently came to you for help after the end of a long term relationship. Your download for ' Getting Over a Relationship' was an absolute lifesaver. I was a mess for a couple of days before remembering your site."
